Rishy Mehrotra
Associate
As an Associate at Llenrock Group, Rishy Mehrotra is responsible for the development of new business and assists in the structuring and underwriting of capital market transactions, specializing in senior living and healthcare properties. Before joining Llenrock, Mr. Mehrotra was a Debt Capital Markets Analyst at Barclays Capital investment bank in New York City. As a DCM Analyst at Barclays, he helped large public corporations access the capital markets through the issuance of investment grade bonds. Prior to his work with Barclays, he served as an Assistant Account Executive at The Berman Group, Inc., a real estate public relations and marketing firm. In this role, he helped some of New York City’s largest developers, contractors, and real estate owners successfully win new business through targeted corporate communications campaigns. He also carries significant knowledge of microfinance in emerging markets through his work with a New Delhi-based microfinance institution.
Mr. Mehrotra received a B.S. from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a double major in Finance and Information Systems. In his spare time he enjoys playing polo and has completed formal apprenticeships with some of the world’s finest chefs.
David B. Weinstein
Principal
David B. Weinstein joined Llenrock Group, LLC in June 2008 as a Principal. He brings 12 years of commercial real estate experience in acquisitions, structured finance, and as a principal investor in both multi-family and hotel properties.
Most recently, Mr. Weinstein served as a Vice President of Foreign Exchange trading at JPMorgan Chase, where he was responsible for managing up to $500 million of emerging market risk on a daily basis. Before then, he was with a private multi-family and hotel family office investor. There Mr. Weinstein was instrumental in the acquisition of more than $500 million of real estate, resulting in ownership of more than 15,000 multi-family units and 2,000 hotel rooms for the firm. Mr. Weinstein also previously worked in the corporate development arm of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he managed projects involving all facets of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage, operations, and corporate level mergers and acquisitions.
He received a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
